Welcome to The Home Market. We’re a not for profit, registered Public Benefit Organisation established in 2002 and specialising in providing access and security of ownership of affordable housing to lower income households through not only government-assisted housing subsidy programme called FHF (First Home Finance) together with home loan financing from the bank but also include the provision of affordable nonsubsidised housing.

Over the last 20 years, The Home Market has been involved in the implementation of over 2427 housing units for rental and sale in amenity-rich locations.

The decades of experience in urban development maintained by our team has confirmed the adage, “a building is only as strong as its foundation”, that is why we have a practical, proactive mission and vision founded on honesty, respect and dignity and that is to create subsidised and non-subsidised affordable housing for sale and rent for communities who have historically been denied access to housing with the purpose of integrating and restructuring cities and uplifting communities in South Africa.

OUR SERVICES

The Home Market aims to be a pioneer in the field of affordable housing for the benefit of communities and to set a precedent in the field which can be emulated and replicated in various communities in the country. Our focus is the provision of mostly government subsidised and nonsubsidised housing for sale and rent and as such we provide specialist services in development packaging and implementation which include:
